Another avalanche!

Dead Man's Cave was originally written for a teenage audience, but as with all great young people's books, it's a winner with all ages.

Peaksoft have lovingly recreated this epic adventure, long unavailable even on the second-hand market - surviving copies of the original are well-guarded.

Produced with Conon Fraser's enthusiastic support, the new edition has the full original text and illustrations, for which permission was granted by the family of the late Will Nickless (of Eagle fame).
There is a new foreword by Conon Fraser, as well as the tale of the 20-year process that led to the 21st Century re-issue of Dead Man's Cave.

Reported in the Scarborough Evening News, 20 February 2008:

In 1960, when he was only 11-years-old, Harry Whitehouse, of Scarborough UK borrowed Conon Fraser's Dead Man's Cave from a library in Mansfield.
He enjoyed the book so much he paid for it instead of returning it, and it inspired him to become a keen potholer. Years later, when his daughter read it and wanted her own copy, he was unable to find one. After searching in second-hand bookshops for 20 years he finally decided to reprint the book on his own through his company – Peaksoft.
